charlie and lola

my girls are HOOKED on charlie and lola.

so much so, that while i am downstairs scrolling the interweb, i can hear them upstairs (at the most opposite end of the house) yelling "BOO!" at one of the favorite episodes.

she's here!

i am an aunt on my side of the family as of ~7:30 california time last night. HUZZAH!

mom, dad and audrey linea are all doing fine. i'm told she has dark curly hair and am anxiously awaiting pictures!

now, i just need to find a good fare to the bay area so i can hold the little gummi bear in my arms...

i got a message a little earlier that my sister's water broke this morning and she's now in the hospital waiting for my niece to make her debut!

i'm sleeping with the phone on my pillow tonight so i don't miss the call. it's SOOOO hard to be 3000+ miles away at a time like this. sigh.

the time has come the walrus said

i had to memorize this poem in the 5th (?) grade and this is the only part i can still remember. i think it is pretty wonderful.
