bah!

recovering from jetlag with two barnacles (aged 4 1/2 and 2) is EXTREMLY difficult. seriously, i cannot go into another room in the house to catch my breath without them showing up about 30 seconds later.

i'm very, very close to locking myself in the bathroom with my knitting or a book jsut to get some time to myself.

tomorrow, i may be able to pass them off to a neighbor for an hour or so to get some relief.

don't call it a comeback

back from vacation and still trying to adjust to the time zone. at least the girls didn't wake up at 3 this morning.

i didn't finish any knitting projects while in france, but did do some knitting. i bought some yarn in avallon (in burgundy) and at le bon marche in paris. winter is coming and that means way more knitting time. so i'm looking forward to finishing a few things and using up some yarn. also, possibly knitting this. god help me, it's a skirt-somthing i thought i'd never knit. but it's so cute! i want it in a dark grey to wear with black tights and a black tutleneck and these boots. cute, no?

being in paris totally made me want to take more chances with what i wear and be more creative in my wardrobe. (like boots witha short skirt. i know it's not earth shattering in the fashion world, but hey-start small) i'm not going to go out and buy a bunch of expensive clothes, but i hope to jazz it up a little. that ought to go over well in vermont. oy.
