not that it's important

my amazon recommendations (which i rarely check, but happened to today) are forever branded by the fact that i bought literally thousands and thousands of dollars of technical books through them when i worked for desktop.com. every once in a while i still get e-mails trying to sell me the newest java pr perl or whatever book. it's going to take a long time and lots of books for them to get my reading interests even close to right.
