disappointed

this is just so upsetting on so many levels. i was so, so hopeful that the episcopal church could take this progressive step forward and set an example in acceptance. it would do so much for moving the christian community towards embracing the faithful, no matter what their sexual orientation.

if it is not true, it's unfortunate that the opponents of gene robinson were so fearful of his homosexuality to stoop to comething like this. if it is true, then i'm just not sure what to say. i always try to give people the benefit of the doubt (sometimes to my own detriment), but who do you trust anymore?
